West Pennine Myeloma Support Group

The group aims to establish networks for sufferers, family and carers. It provides support for group members whilst respecting confidentiality at all times.

It aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of myeloma by receiving talks and demonstrations on topics of relevance and interest. This includes gaining an up to date knowledge of myeloma and how to cope with the impact of living with the condition and the physical and psychological effect it has upon sufferers, family and carers.

The group meets every six weeks in the Elizabethan Suite, Bury Town Hall. The meetings are on Mondays from 1.00 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. The format is very informal and we always start with a cup of tea/coffee and a chance to chat with other members.

For more information please contact Joan Smith, Secretary, at [email protected] or 0161 766 4669.
