Intro
Bury Law Centre is a local charity providing free legal advice and help to people in Bury by its own solicitors and by volunteers.
It is a member of the Law Centres Network and provides legal advice which is either free of charge or funded by legal aid (subject to eligibility).
The main areas of work for the Law Centre are:
- Housing
- Immigration and Asylum
- Employment law (initial advice by qualified volunteers only).
Solicitors employed by the Law Centre are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Our advice is confidential, unbiased and professional.
The Law Centre is located with the Citizens Advice Bureau in Bury town centre. We are a short walk up the street from Wilko / over the road from St John's Gardens outside M&S.

Thursday: register at 1.45pm for a 2pm start

Appointments available for new cases: Monday - Friday in office hours
