Farmers Market
Ramsbottom Farmers' Market, Local Produce & Crafts Fair has grown from strength to strength since its introduction in May 2003. The vibrant market normally takes place between 9.30am and 2.30pm on the second Sunday of the month in Ramsbottom Market Place (next to the tilted vase) and at Ramsbottom Civic Hall. The Market features more than 25 stalls and brings together farmers and producers from all over the North West.
A vast array of local produce is available, including jams, breads and homemade fudge, fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat (including ostrich), savoury pies and seafood. Also there are homemade crafts, cards, paintings and other locally made items.
Many of Ramsbottom independent retail shops open on Farmers Market days.
Why not make a day of it with the whole family. Travel in style using the East Lancashire Steam Railway, just a short 3 minute walk from Ramsbottom Station to the Farmers Market. Check their website for travel details.
