Eight-year-old girl injured after road collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a young girl was injured in road collision in Bury.

At around 3.45pm on Sunday 18 December 2011, police were called to Ringley Road, Whitefield following reports a car had collided with an eight-year-old girl.

On arrival, officers discovered the girl had received a head injury.

She was taken to hospital where her condition is described as serious but stable.
