Venture into a Fungal Foray

Discover the fascinating world of fungi at a guided walk around Philips Park local nature reserve.

Join Paul Robinson, Bury’s local nature reserves officer and fungi expert, and David Winnard, on the Fungal Foray which takes place on Saturday 15 October.

Find out what the Razor-strop Fungus looks like, discover the Chicken of the Woods, and see why the Candle-snuff Fungus got its name!

The walk lasts from 10am to 1pm. Boots or wellies are essential as some of the footpaths can become muddy at this time of year.
