Volunteers wanted to improve Philips Park

Green-fingered volunteers are needed to join a new group to maintain the formal garden area in Philips Park.

The group is being set up by Bury Council’s Ranger Service and the Friends of Prestwich Forest Park.

Meetings will take place on most Fridays at the Barn Countryside Centre in Whitefield at 10am, with activities usually lasting until 3.30pm.

All training is provided, but please bring your own lunch and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
