Set out your stall for Halloween Festival

Date published: 02 August 2011

Traders who sell unusual gifts are invited to set up stall at this year’s spook-tacular Whitefield Halloween Festival.

Organisers are also keen to hear from people who specialise in New Age gifts, Fair Trade products and Halloween paraphernalia.

The Whitefield Halloween Festival (30/31 October) has been organised by Bury Council’s town centres team in partnership with Whitefield Business Group.

The weekend’s fun includes ghoulish tales, pumpkin carving, lantern parades, monster masks, and a 12 ft fully animatronic dragon led by the Goblin Queen. Expect a minstrels corner, creepy animals, bats, falconry, archery, tarot, and a hog roast, plus a variety of stalls selling Fairtrade products/clothing and Halloween paraphernalia. And a Mythical Creatures display.

Traders can download a booking form at www.halloweenfest.org.uk or email towncentresteam@bury.gov.uk
