Ramsbottom chocolate company to host Lancashire Day at the House of Commons

Ramsbottom’s award winning Chocolate Cafe is helping to promote great local food & drink at a Lancashire Day event in Parliament on the 28 November.
The event has been organised by the MP for Lancaster & Fleetwood, Eric Ollerenshaw OBE, and aims to promote Lancashire and showcase some of our great regional produce.
All 650 MP’s have been invited to the event which will be held in the Jubilee Room, the only room in Parliament were outside catering is permitted.
The Chocolate Cafe will be represented by founder and head chocolatier, Paul Morris who will be offering samples of their award winning handmade chocolates and popular Manchester Tart chocolate bar. Other regional products on offer on the day will include local wildflower honey and award winning cheeses.
Says Paul: “I am really looking forward to the experience; I will be using the opportunity to promote our region and its great independent food producers”.
Paul opened The Chocolate Café together with his wife, Emma in May 2008 and has helped to reinforce Ramsbottom’s reputation as a great food and drink destination. The town’s spring chocolate festival and a year round chocolate trail attract over 50,000 people annually.
