Launch of Nuttall Park Activity Trail

Families are invited to the launch of Nuttall Park Activity Trail and Junior Orienteering Course on Wednesday 1 June.

The Friends of Nuttall Park have installed lots of things to do on the trail, thanks to funding from the Community Foundation.

Among the many items of wooden play equipment are a wobbly bridge, ladders, parallel bars, a stilt walk, and balance beam. There’s also hopscotch, an alphabet dragon and bear footprints.

Prizes will be given for completing the course and orienteering trail, and craft activities will be held in the ranger base afterwards.

The event is open to all ages and is free of charge, although refreshments will be on sale.

There’s no need to book – simply meet at the ranger base at the starting time of 1.30pm, and the event runs until 4pm.
