Launch of Township Forums

The new Township Forums will be formally launched today, Tuesday 13 September at Radcliffe Civic Suite.

The itinerary is as follows:

6pm: Introduction
Cllr Mike Connolly, leader of Bury Council

6.05pm: Presentation on Township Forums
Cllr Sandra Walmsley, executive member for communities
* Purpose and goals
* Operating framework
* Opportunities

6.20pm B3SDA: Getting Involved in your community
B3SDA Board member

6.30pm Coffee and Networking

7pm Radcliffe Township Forum - start of formal meeting.

The first meetings of the new Township forms are:

* 13 Sep: Radcliffe Township Forum - at Radcliffe Civic Suite
* 13 Sep: Whitefield and Unsworth - the Elms Centre, Whitefield

* 15 Sep: Bury West - the Elton Centre, Bury
* 15 Sep: Ramsbottom, Tottington and North Manor - at Ramsbottom Civic Hall

* 22 Sep: Prestwich - Longfield Suite, Prestwich
* 22 Sep: Bury East - at the New Kershaw Centre, Bury
