Radcliffe AC runners at Sydney City2Surf

Radcliffe AC's Kevin and Anne Marie McGilvray went Down Under for their latest race when they took part in the Sydney City2Surf.

The couple joined 85,000 runners in the world's largest chip timed run and covered a 14km course from Sydney to Bondi Beach which takes in the infamous Heartbreak Hill halfway with a 2km long steep ascent.

In wet and wind the couple finished together in 1hr 8mins 40secs, coming 3,791st.

It was the 41st running of the event and Kevin, who has relatives in Australia, has competed eight times.

It was the second time Anne Marie has taken part. They also met former club member Nicola Taylor who clocked 1hr 22mins 36secs.
