Another two top acts have been booked to play the Longfield Suite in Prestwich, following Toploader’s show on 22 October.
Fresh from their recent appearance at the Ramsbottom Festival, the Animals and Friends play on 10 November. The Animals notched up a series of huge sellers in the 1960s, including “House of the Rising Sun”, “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” and “We Gotta Get Out of this Place”.
Tickets are £12 advance and £14 on the door.
Meanwhile, ska legend Neville Staple comes to Prestwich on 1 December. Neville made his name with the Specials, who during the late 70s/early 80s Two Tone era enjoyed hits such as “Ghost Town”. He then enjoyed more success as a founder member of Fun Boy 3.
