Pupils bring festive cheer to library

Date published: 12 December 2011

Pupils from St Mary’s Primary School in Radcliffe brought a touch of Christmas to Radcliffe library with festive carols and songs.

For the third year, they were giving a concert to members of the Autumn Club, who meet every second Friday of the month (from 10am to noon) at the library for a coffee, chat, to play games or listen to a speaker.

The 32-strong group of pupils, from Years 3 to 6, regularly entertain people in Radcliffe, most recently at the Sparking Clog and Bealey’s Hospice accompanied by Radcliffe Brass Band.

The pupils will also be taking part in the Young Voices concert at the MEN on 24 January 2012 which brings together children from all over the North West.

As well as the Autumn Club, Radcliffe Library has many regular activities for adults and children to join in and make new friends.
