Champion schools competition kick off

Rochdales representatives in this years Carnegie Champion Schools competition are ready to role as Wigans 3rd seed team are set to come to town.
Tommorow (Friday 4th November) Hollingworth Business and Enterpise College year 9 team entertain Abraham Guest , who they conquered at this same stage last year, at their new School Pitch (2.30 ko).
Next up are the year 8's on Wednesday 9th November, as Rochdales St Cuthberts High School take on St Edmund Arrowsmith at St Cuthberts school pitch, 2.30 ko.
Subject to approval from Hollingworth, a mouthwatering double header is in store as St Cuthberts year 7 and Hollingworth year 10 both entertain St John Fisher at Mayfield Sports Centre, 2pm ko.(Confirmation will be posted at www.bbrrldg.co.uk early next week).
The year 11 Siddal Moor Vs St John Fisher is yet to find a date.
Danny Pyke, Link4Life Community Rugby League Coach for Rochdale commented: 'All of our teams are prepared better than ever. Any team from Wigan is going to be tough to beat but im sure our lads will give it their all and do the borough proud'.
