Radcliffe AC had 13 runners in the latest Red Rose League cross country race at weekend.

Donna Cartwright led the local women home in a creditable 14th place overall at Hyndburn, Clayton-le-Moors on Saturday.

Vet 45 Anne Marie McGilvray was next in followed by Rachael Stoney, Kath Davies (V45) and Eileen Sharman who took the second vet 55 place.

Among the men Mark Williams (V45) was first home followed by Steve Lomax, Dave Bartlett and Don Whiley (V45).

George Critchley (V50) and Kevin McGilvray (V55) had a close tussle with only nine seconds between them and they were followed by Mark Cartwright (V40) and Mark Murphy.
