Fancy a dip in the water...

Bury Sub Aqua Club want to welcome new members to their club. If you’ve been impressed by the adventures of Monty Hall or even remember Jacques Cousteau then why not come along to our Introductory Talk or Try Dive Sessions and see for yourself (age 16 plus).

Some of the trips the club have done this year have been a week long expedition to the remote Summer Isles with two other British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) Branches, other trips have included Cornwall, Dorset and different parts of Wales where we had close encounters with grey seals and trips further a field to much warmer waters such as Cyprus and Egypt.

Training takes place in a pool on Mondays and at the clubhouse on Fridays. After passing an assessment you will then progress to open water. All members/instructors give their time for free so don't expect miracles.

Introductory Talk with a question and answer session is on Friday, 30 September 8.00pm at Sedgley Park RUFC, Park Lane, Whitefield M45 7DZ and try dives will take place in the safety of the pool at Bury Castle Leisure Centre, Bolton Street, Bury BL9 0EZ on 3 or 10 October 8.00pm.
