Follow Pennine Acute Trust on Twitter

The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is joining other NHS Trusts and public sector organisations in using Twitter as a way of sharing information to the public, including news, events and public health messages.

The public, in addition to the media, the Trust’s 900 volunteers, plus its 6,500 public members, can all now follow Pennine Acute Trust on Twitter.

The Trust’s Twitter account can be found at http://twitter.com/#!/PennineAcuteNHS or @pennineacutenhs 

The Trust is also using YouTube to host its short film about its proposal to become a Foundation Trust, encouraging the public to sign up as members of the Trust to support their hospital.

The Pennine Acute Trust runs North Manchester General Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, The Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary and services at Birch Hill Hospital.
