Woman Stabbed in Neck - Whitefield.

A 39-year-old woman has been arrested after a woman was stabbed in the neck in Bury.

Police were called to an address on Lune Drive, Whitfield, just before 6.20am today, Tuesday 12 February 2008.

Officers attended and discovered a 37-year-old woman with injuries to her neck and face. She is currently being treated in hospital where she is in a stable condition.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault and is currently in police custody.
