Appeal After Man Attacked outside Takeaway - Prestwich

Police in Bury are appealing for witnesses after a man was the victim of an unproved assault outside a takeaway.
At around 11pm on Thursday 24 January 2008, the 48-year-old man was outside the Indian Palace on Whittaker Lane, Prestwich, when he was attacked from behind.
A man punched him to the face, head and body, and said, 'I've got the wrong person.'
He continued the assault and then walked off.
The victim was left with a cut eye, which was swollen, and bruises to his face.
