The next meeting of the Radcliffe Local Area Partnership (LAP) takes place on 12 March 2008.

6.00pm ndash; Part One
Part one of the meeting will be an informal conference style event with round table discussions. Residents of Radcliffe are invited to come along and have their say about the priorities for Radcliffe 2008 ndash; 2011.
Various themes such as health, activities for young people, crime and community safety, town centre etc will all be discussed and resident’s views used to inform the development of the Radcliffe Plan 2008 ndash; 2011.
This part of the meeting will be very informal and we encourage all residents of Radcliffe to attend and have their say. Organisations are welcome to come along and put up displays to promote their activities.
This part of the meeting will finish as 7.30pm when a light buffet and drinks will be available for all who attend.

Consultation on Road Safety Scheme for Dumers Lane ndash; Bury Council Highways
Open Forum ndash; public question time
Local Area Partnership funding decisions
Chairman of the Radcliffe LAP, Councillor Tony Cummings said; ldquo;I would like to extend a warm welcome to all Radcliffe residents to come and join the meeting.
“This meeting will be very different from the usual meetings. We hope to create an informal atmosphere allowing people to discuss their priorities for the next three years. Using that information we will develop the Radcliffe Plan 2008 ndash; 2011 listing priorities for our community.”
There is a three way split in membership:
Ø Elected members ndash; 9 Radcliffe Councillors
Ø Service Providers including: - Bury Third Sector Development Agency, Bury Primary Care Trust, GM Police, GM Fire amp; Rescue Services, Six Town Housing, Job Centre Plus, Bury Council
Ø Community Representatives ndash; Representatives from a variety of groups working in Radcliffe
Members of the public are welcome at the meeting.
