Get Online Days at Bury Libraries

Staff at libraries across Bury are gearing up to help local people get online in their local library over the next few months.

Library users will be shown how to make the most from the internet by accessing free online services such as:

. Ancestry. lib (the library-based version of Ancestry.com which includes 1,000s of family records)
. Britannica Online (the full Britannica Encyclopaedia organised into three age ranges)
. Oxford English Dictionary (the full, 20+ volumes)
. Oxford Dictionary of National Biography
. Grove Encyclopaedias of Art and Music

The sessions will be held as follows;

Friday June 6th (10 - 3pm) at Ramsbottom Library

Tuesday 22 July (10 - 3pm) at Prestwich Library

Monday September 1st (10 - 3pm) at Whitefield Library

Tuesday October 7th (10 - 3pm) at Radcliffe Library
