Whitefield and Unsworth Parnership Meeting

The next meeting of Whitefield & Unsworth Local Area Partnership takes place on Thursday 3rd April, 7pm at Whitefield primary School, Victoria Lane.

Top of the agenda will be highways issues including an update on the Croft Lane resurfacing scheme which will be carried out this summer and the Ringley Road Safety Scheme.

There will be updates from the Police, Fire Service and Whitefield Area Youth Team.

The Partnership will also be considering priorities to be included in its new 2008-2011 Local Community Plan.

The meeting will start with Public Question Time where members of the public can raise any issues of concern.

Cllr Bernie Vincent, LAP Chairperson said, "The meeting includes two highways schemes which are very important to local communities in Hollins and Whitefield. There will be an opportunity for residents to give their views on these issues and any other matters of concern."
