Adult learning achieves top grades

Candidates from Bury Adult Education Centre have achieved top marks in their recent GCSE examinations. The Adult Education centres focus on "skills for life’ such as literacy, numeracy, English as a foreign Language and Leisure Learning.
All fourteen students from Bury Adult Education gained A*, A, B or C grades. Candidates who can all feel proud of their achievements in Mathematics and English for mature students were:
Mathematics:
Jane Goonan (B); Danielle Makin(B), Elizabeth Neary,(B) Angela Nicholas(C), John Power(C) and Ann Wilkinson(C)
English for Mature Students:
Elisia Lee (A*) , Lisa Heatherington (A), Lorna White(A) Jane Goonan (B) Anwar Farrar(B) Luidmila Parry(B) Joan Woodward(B) Iffat Anwar(C), Sheila Denise Gardner (C)
Enrolment for all adult education courses has now started and continues until classes start September 25.
