Four people bailed following shooting

Four people arrested following an incident in which a man received a gunshot wound in Bury on Saturday 26 August 2006 have been bailed.

At approximately 6.20am police were called to Heath Avenue following reports that shots had been fired.

A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound. He is believed to be in a stable condition.

Three men and a woman who had been arrested have now been bailed pending further enquiries.
