Reporter: Ask Bury
Date online: 03 January 2007

Bury Housing Forum will take place on January 25 at the education, development and training centre, Seedfield site on Parkinson street off Walmersley Road,  Bury.

The meeting will discuss concerns about the number of empty properties in the area and what the council is planning to do about them, giving members of the community their chance to air their thoughts and find out more about housing issues.

The event has been organised to discuss the issues in relation to empty properties with the borough of Bury and will include a number of presentations with opportunities to ask questions and have your say in workshops. Exhibition stands which will include Six Town Housing and Bury Council will also be open for free information and advice on the day.

Registration for the event starts at 9.30am and includes refreshments; all presentations will start at 10am and finish at 1pm.

If you would like to book a place at the Housing Forum contact Elizabeth Crompton on 0161 253 6248 or email e.crompton@bury.gov.uk by Friday January 19. The Seedfield site is a reasonably new venue for a Housing Forum – a map and directions are available on request.
