Youngsters needed for giant chocolate challenge

Pupils in nursery and primary schools are wanted by organisers of Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival to make a three-foot Easter egg.

This is just one of the many events taking place at this year’s Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival which takes place on 31 March and 1 April in venues across the town centre.

The final details for the event are soon to be announced, but a website has been set up to provide information about the events and when and where they take place. Plans include a chocolate market, alfresco dining, chocolate and craft workshops and demonstrations.

The Giant Easter Egg event takes place at Ramsbottom Civic Hall between 10.30am and 4pm.
