Cannabis farm - Prestwich - court appearance

A 36-year-old man has appeared in court after police discovered a cannabis farm at an address in Prestwich on Friday, 27 July 2007.

Vuong Van Tran, born 2/9/70, of no fixed address, was charged with the production of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

He was due to appear at Bury Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 28 July 2007.

The charges relate to the discovery of a quantity of cannabis plants at a house in Lichfield Drive, Sedgley Park.
