Radcliffe AC's Anna Lupton took on the Northern Athletics Cross Country Championships in West Yorkshire on Saturday.

Getting back into her racing after illness she was a creditable 30th place out of a top field of 235 women, covering the 8k course in Pontefract Park, Wakefield, in 34mins 19secs.

Lupton has had many successes in the past taking part in mountain races in Europe and America. She has represented England and Great Britain and has also twice been first woman home in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Fell Race.
