Free computer help at your local library

Date published: 30 January 2012

Free basic computer sessions are being held in most libraries for people who want to get to grips with using a computer.

Coronation Road Community Centre and Library in Radcliffe is offering free one-hour sessions which you can book in advance by ringing 0161 253 5443.

The sessions are suitable for beginners and for those with a little more experience. They cover the basic skills on a one-to-one basis, including how to open, save and close documents, use the internet, search online for jobs and create and use an email account. After that, you will be able to progress using an online tutorial course provided by Go Online.

The sessions do not provide any advice on which computer to buy or help with any technical problems with your own PC or laptop.

Contact Coronation Road Community Centre & Library or pop into a library near you for further information on basic computer sessions available.
