Man assaulted and robbed in Bury

A 62-year-old man was assaulted and robbed as he walked back to his car in Bury on Tuesday 7 August 2007.
At 6pm the man was walking back to his car on Canteaton Street when he was approached by two men who punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. They dragged the man for a short distance before stealing his money and running off.
The man suffered cuts and bruises and was taken to Fairfield general hospital for treatment.
The first offender is described as an asian man, in his early 30s, 5ft7in - 5ft9in tall and of stocky build. He was unshaven and was wearing a pale green khaki coat. The second offender is an asian man, in his early 30s, 5ft6in tall and of athletic build.
