A 34-year-old man has been threatened during an armed robbery at his family home in Whitefield on Tuesday 28 August 2007.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 10.20pm on Higher Lane.
The victim was in his house with his 28-year-old wife, two-year-old daughter and four week old baby, when three men forced their way in through the front door armed with a sword and metal bar.
One of the offenders demanded car keys and cash from the man, while the other two searched the house.
The offenders grabbed two sets of car keys and two of them made off with the cars parked on the driveway, a dark grey Lexus RX 300 and a black Volkswagen Golf TDI.
The third offender then got into a silver Alfa Romeo that the offenders are believed to have arrived in.
No one was hurt during the incident but the man and woman were left extremely shaken.
All of the offenders are described as white men, aged in their late teens to early 20's. Two of them had balaclavas on covering their faces, while the third offender is described as having brown hair.
