Bury youth have lots to brag about

Bury's young people were buzzing after taking part in the North West Street Games.
Teams in all events did well, but, once again, the dancers shone through to take gold.
The games, held at Manchester City FC and Liverpool Waverton Sports Academy, are a "mini Olympics" for those who are relatively new to their sport.
Bury Youth Service had run a four-week activity programme called "Brag" which offers 200 workshops across the borough in everything from Frisbee to jewellery crafting, canoeing to cake-making.
After the programme finished, young people had a further chance to enter the Street Games competition in the final week of the holidays.
Liz Norris, area youth worker, said: “I am delighted that, once again, our young people achieved such success and showed what talented and fantastic ambassadors they are.”
The Junior Street Cheer squad came first, with the Senior Street Cheer team in third. Another third place came in athletics, a fourth in dodge ball, a fifth in basketball, and a sixth in Frisbee.
