Major changes to the way the NHS is run
Date published: 04 September 2010
Bury LINk and Patient’s Council have joined forces to gather public opinion on the Government’s White Paper proposals for the NHS.
They are holding an informal public meeting, to talk about the Government’s plans for major changes to the way the NHS is run.
The Government has said it wants to hear the views of the public regarding these changes; both Bury LINk and Patient’s Council want to make sure that Bury residents’ views are heard.
Bury LINk is an independent organisation set up to involve local people in shaping health and social care services, largely run by volunteers.
Patients Council is an independent group of patients from the northeast sector of Greater Manchester, members are volunteers.
The public meeting will be held at 10.00am -2.00pm Monday 13 September 2010 at Imperial House, Hornby Street, Bury.
Please contact Bury LINk on 0161 253 6300 for further information.
