Simon Yates won Westmead 88’s 10-mile time trial at Alderley Edge last week

Out of a field of 40-riders, the 17-year old posted 21 minutes 28 seconds. In second place was twin brother, Adam, who delivered 21 minutes 36 seconds.
Nick Hall raced in the TLI Criterium event at Seighford Airfield, Stafordshire, the previous week. Out of a field of 20-riders he managed seventh place.
In the National Clarion Points Competition Andy Horner lies in first place after 4 rounds – Bury lies in 2nd place overall behind Fenland.
