This week the Guardian listed the ten best ‘cracking bakers in the North of England’ and Harry’s Muffins situated on Edward Block on Bury Market was chosen as one of the lucky few.
Harry’s Muffins was praised for their traditional oven-bottom baked bread. The Guardian stated that ‘Harry's also has fantastic – and gigantic - Eccles and Chorley cakes and delicious whinberry pies (which are what bilberries are called round Bury)’.
Joanne Borzacchiello from Harry’s Muffins, said: “It is fantastic to be picked out of the crowd, we work really hard here in Bury to provide the many coach loads of visitors to the market and local shoppers with some traditional Lancashire favourites – I am delighted to appear in the listing”.
