Last chance for Six Town Housing to say what they think of housing services

Date published: 27 July 2010

Six Town Housing are currently finalising their annual report to customers and they are encouraging tenants and residents to get involved and have their say on what they think of the day to day work the organisation has undertaken in the last twelve months.

Consultation has already started to discuss the format and the content of the report with customers to see what they want. Tenants and residents who wish to take part in the consultation can contact Julie Heywood, Customer Contact Manager on 0161 686 8000 or can log on to www.sixtownhousing.org and complete a survey. This phase of consultation ends on 6 August and all customers will receive information about the annual report early in October 2010.

The annual report includes information on how Six Town Housing’s performance measures up against the Tenant Services Authority regulatory standards as well as document how we are going to go about creating local standards with our customers.

The report is also a means of improving accountability and transparency and we will be doing this by involving tenants in the development of the annual report.

Sharon McCambridge Chief Executive said: “The annual report is a document that outlines and analyses the activities and performance of Six Town Housing over the past year and this consultation provides a means of setting out a clear service offer in respect to the national standards and this means that customers know what to expect from us”.
