A man from Bolton is wanted on a recall to prison
Date published: 02 July 2010
Ashley Derbyshire (born 10/11/1985) is wanted after breaching the terms of his licence since being released from prison on 17 June 2010.
He was originally sentenced to six years for a burglary and was also sentenced to four years for a violent robbery he committed in Bury, both in April 2006.
Police now need the public's help locating this man.
It is believed he could be in the Great Lever area of Bolton, but he also has links in Bury.
Police Constable Gary Simkin, from the integrated offender management unit, based at Bolton Police Station, said: "Offenders are released on licence with specific conditions attached to prove they are ready to go back into the community and live responsibly.
"Derbyshire has clearly shown he is not ready to do that and must go back and serve the rest of his sentence".
"If you know where he is or have seen him, please contact the Police."
Anyone with information is asked to call police in Bolton on 0161 856 5576 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
