Prestwich man charged over thefts from cars

A Prestwich man has been charged in connection with two thefts from cars.
Jonathan William Pennington, 31, of Ash Grove, Prestwich appeared before Bury Magistrates court on March 18, and has been charged with two counts theft from a motor vehicle.
The charges relate to two thefts, one on Wednesday 9 December 2009, where a Peugeot 106 was broken into on Highfield Road in Prestwich, and a CD player was taken.
The second incident happened on 19 January 2010, where a Peugeot 206 was targeted outside a house on Kingswood Road, Prestwich, where a set of golf clubs were stolen.
