Man charged for stealing charity box

A man has been charged after a charity box was stolen from a police station.
Roy Anthony Boodle 28, of no fixed address, is charged with three counts of burglary and one count of handling stolen property. A further 10 further offences, including eight burglaries, one theft and one handling stolen property offence, were asked to be taken into consideration.
Boodle appeared before Bury Magistrates' Court on 11 December 2009.
The charity box, for victims of domestic abuse, was stolen from Bury Police Station on 30 December 2008.
