Prestwich Local Area Partnership is set to present it's own Winter Wonderland

That's the message at this week's Prestwich Local Area Partnership Meeting, which takes place at 6.30pm, Thursday 12th November at Heaton Park Primary School.

The Prestwich Local Area Partnership meeting will provide details about Prestwich’s Winter Wonderland events. The events kick off on Sunday 22 November with a bumper Prestwich Christmas Farmers Market and Christmas Lights Switch On at The Longfield Shopping Centre, where Coronation Street Star Katherine Kelly (Becky)will switch on the lights. The meeting will also highlight the range of activities scheduled to take place at Prestwich Library during the Farmers Market.

Other reports at this months meeting will include The Local Development Framework, The Big Clean and a report from Greater Manchester Police.

Cllr Vic D'Albert, Chair of Prestwich Local Area Partnership, said: "The meeting will provide a sneak preview of the Prestwich Winter Wonderland What's On Guide, which provides lots of ideas for festive celebrations this winter. The guide will have something for everyone for all ages and faiths. This has been a great year for Prestwich, with the hugely successful LovePrestwich Festival in the summer and the last LAP meeting of the year will let us reflect on our successes as well as look forward to the Prestwich Winter Wonderland events".
