Inquest into death of teenager shot with airgun

An inquest is being held into the death of a teenager from Bury after she was shot in the eye with an air rifle is being held at Rochdale Coroner's Court.
Rachel Davies, 18, was shot on 7 December last year. She died three weeks later after the pellet from the shot lodged in her brain.
Ms Davies' parents, Ricky and Angela, are to give statements at the inquest, as is Stephen Hogson, 28, who was holding the airgun when it was fired. He and two other men were cleared of firearms charges in relation to the death.
