Don’t be fooled by BNP, warns UKIP

Date published: 30 October 2009

The BNP remains a Fascist party, despite its election success in Europe and Nick Griffin’s appearance on BBC television’s “Question Time”, according to a political opponent.

North West Euro-MP Paul Nuttall, of the UK Independence Party, said it was a tragedy that Mr Griffin was elected to represent the North West.

He added: “It is important for the electorate to know that in every single area in the North-West, UKIP got more votes than they did.

“In many areas we got more than double the votes they did and I want people to be aware of this and not be fooled into thinking that the BNP has made huge strides forward, even after the BBC’s disgraceful free publicity spree.

“It does not have the support of sensible British folk who know what a despicable bunch they are.

“Yes, this country does have immigration problems and the UK Independence Party wants a five-year moratorium on immigration for all but the highly skilled workers we need.

“And we want British workers for British jobs, but unlike the BNP we are not a racist party.

“We are the party of common sense and common decency.

“So each time Nick Griffin and his bigoted followers strut about causing unrest and disharmony in the community, people should be aware that they may have changed their spots but underneath they are the same old dangerous Fascists.”
