Have your say on Radcliffe's future
Date published: 29 September 2009
King Arthur isn’t invited – but everyone else is welcome to attend “round table” discussions at Radcliffe Local Area Partnership.
Workshops will give local residents the chance to give their views on a number of key issues in Radcliffe’s Local Community Plan.
Worklessness, health and domestic violence will be among the topics discussed at the sessions.
New funding applications will be considered, and there will be updates from partners including the police and fire service.
The meeting is on Wednesday October 7 at Radcliffe Civic Suite, starting at 6pm.
The usual open forum and public question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting.
Councillor Tony Cummings, chair of Radcliffe LAP, said: “The round table format has been very successful at previous meetings. It gives the residents of Radcliffe the opportunity to help to shape the future of their town in areas such as education, employment and health.”
