Lunch and Learn with Free Courses
Date published: 11 August 2009
A free chance to learn a new skill and socialise over lunch is being offered by Bury libraries and adult learning service.
The borough’s over-50s are invited to attend several informal Lunch and Learn classes.

The sessions are:
* Stitching for Pleasure – held at Bury Adult Education Centre on Sep 7, 14 and 21, from noon to 3pm
* Continental Cooking – at Bury Adult Education Centre on Sep 7, 14 and 21, from 1pm to 3pm
* French for beginners – at Tottington Library on Sep 7, 14 and 21, from 10am to 1pm
* Painting – at Bury Adult Education Centre on Sep 8, 15 and 22, from 10am to 1pm
* Pottery – at Whitefield Library on Sep 17 and 24, from 10am to 1pm
* Family history – at Whitefield Library on Sep 10, 17 and 24, from noon to 3pm
* Greek for beginners – at Whitefield Library on Sep 11, 18 and 25, from noon to 3pm
