Bury FC fun day

Bury FC's 125th anniversary season celebrations kick off at Gigg Lane on Friday when David Moyes brings his Everton side along on Friday 10th July to take on the Shakers. He has promised to send his first team squad for the game which will kick off at 7.45pm.
Following this there will be further celebrations as the Gigg Lane doors will be thrown wide open on Sunday 12th July when Forever Bury in conjunction with Bury FC host their annual Open Day / Fun Day.
Commencing at 1pm, admission to the event is free for everyone. Various activities are planned so come on down and meet the players and manager, tour the ground, roundabout and rides will be available for the kids, take part in the Treasure Hunt around the Stadium. There are also charity stalls, a 5-a-side competition for junior team and refreshments. Subject to occupational commitments the fire brigade will be bringing down an engine and Boss Performance will be providing a chrome Aston Martin or red Ferrari to pose alongside.
The Mayor of Bury, Councillor Sheila Magnall will be attending in her official capacity to open the newly refurbished Study Support Centre. Another building earmarked for opening on the day is the Forever Bury Office and Visitors Centre which has also undergone a complete refurbishment over the summer.
Weather permitting it should prove to be fun for everyone so come on down and join in the celebrations.
