Your chance to take part in Bury's Housing Forum Annual Review

Date published: 03 March 2009

Bury Housing Forum will be holding it's annual review on Thursday 19 March at the Seedfield Training & Development Centre, Parkinson Lane, Bury. Tenants and residents from across the borough are invited to attend.

The event has been organised by Bury Council’s Governance, Strategy & Quality Team to allow local people the chance to contribute to the development of housing policy across the borough.

The event will discuss several important issues including:
• A progress report on delivering Bury’s Housing Strategy;
• Feedback on previous Housing Forum events
• How community views have helped shape services, strategies and policies;
• Information about establishment of a new Housing Strategic Partnership Executive.

The event will also feature some workshop sessions which will see local residents put forward ideas to help identify the key housing issues for Bury over the next 12 months.

Individuals attending the event are invited to sign in and register from 9.30am before the event starts at 10am. It is anticipated that the event will finish at 1pm. Refreshments will be available at registration and at mid-morning.

For more information, or to book a place, please contact Melanie Barratt on 253 6248 or email to housing@bury.gov.uk
