Man charged following drugs warrant

A man has been charged after thousands of pounds in cash and large quantities of Class A drugs were recovered during a raid in Bury.

Richard Andrew Green (01/10/77), of The Spinnings, Summerseat, appeared at Bury Magistrates' Court on Friday 23 January 2009, where he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

He is next due to appear at Bolton Crown Court on 12 February 2009, for sentencing.

During a search of the house, officers found large amounts of cocaine, mixing agents and smaller quantities of drugs in snap bags.

More than £13,000 was also found and seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
