Trio charged following assault

Three people have been charged after a man suffered nasty head injuries during an assault in Ramsbottom.

Andrew Feeley (born 30/09/1961) of Manchester Road, Bury, Matthew Barrow (born 21/03/1980) of Ashwood Avenue, Ramsbottom and a 17-year-old boy from the Bury area are charged with section 18 assault and are due before Bury Magistrates' Court on Friday 14 November 2008.

Just after midnight on Saturday 25 October 2008, police were called to Bolton Street following reports a 26-year-old man had been assaulted.

The victim suffered a broken nose, several broken teeth, a two-inch gash to his head and abrasions to his legs
