Half Term Magic and Madness at Radcliffe Library

Date published: 20 October 2008

Magicians and Mad Scientists will be visiting Radcliffe Library during October half term to provide fun filled activities for local children during the school holiday.

The Library Service and Radcliffe Local Area Partnership have teamed up to organise these action packed local community events.

On Monday 27 October between 2.00 and 3.00 pm the ‘Magic Men’ will be visiting the library and will perform some amazing magic tricks. This event is free and young people, children and parents are all invited to attend.

The second holiday treat will take place on Friday 31 October between 2pm and 4pm. Children and young people are invited to come along in scary Halloween fancy dress outfits and take part in a hands on educational and entertaining hands on science session organised by the Mad Science Team. This event costs £2.00 per child and is suitable for children aged 8 and over. It is advisable to book a place as spaces are limited.

For further details or to book a place at one of these events please contact Radcliffe Library on 0161 253 7160. For further details on all library service events check out the website at www.bury.gov.uk/libraries.
