Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a man they want to speak to following a burglary in Bury.

On 27 November 2009, a large number of items, including clothing, alcohol, jewellery, a computer and games console were stolen during a break-in at a house on Cartmel Close, Sunnybank.

Police are keen to trace Stephen James Barker, aged 23.

Detective Constable Michael Kennedy, of Bury CID, said: "Having someone smash their way into your home and steal your personal belongings is clearly an awful thing to happen.

"We are committed to tackling burglaries and those involved in such invasive crimes and I would urge anyone who knows where Stephen Barker is to call police."
